Two years ago, it was our wedding day. It was truly one of the best days of our lives together. We had so many people tell us that you could feel the love as our friends and family celebrated our next chapter as Mr. and Mrs. together.
We spent this past weekend celebrating and reconnecting. As we both are busy with work and passions, it's easy to put our marriage as a last priority. Most nights, we sit at home watching a show as background noise while we work or sit on our phones. We try to "vent" for about 20 minutes when we get home each night to catch up on our days, but it's always good to get out, disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other.
OUR STAY AT THE IRONWORKS HOTEL INDY
This weekend we enjoyed a staycation with Ironworks Hotel Indy. We attended their grand opening last fall where we had the opportunity to chat with the interior designer of the hotel and since then, we've wanted to stay. This boutique hotel combines luxury and comfort in a 19th-century inspired design. It smells heavenly as you walk in the large iron doors and head up to the second floor lobby to check in.
Ironworks Hotel Indy has several restaurants both in the hotel and within walking distance at the Ironworks Apartments across the street. We dined at Ruth's Chris Saturday night as we love their steak, plus the Devour Indy menu is going on right now at many restaurants throughout the city. Provisions is also located in the hotel and is a great place to grab dinner and drinks. You can enjoy their amazing outdoor area also.
We spent the rest of Saturday evening watching movies and drinking a fabulous bottle of Cabernet in the lush bed at Ironworks Hotel Indy. It really was an awesome stay and we are so thankful to Ironworks for working with us.
I am going to be sharing a more in-depth post soon on a few things we've learned in our marriage and what we are working on together as a couple. In the meantime, here are a few posts you can check out to learn more about us.

Thank you guys as always for following along on this journey. Trendy in Indy certainly wouldn't be possible without Collin and I am so grateful to him for his support. So many of the photos you guys see are with help from him.
Cheers to love and many more anniversary celebrations,
