5 Fall Trends to Try Now

Fall fashion is my favorite hands down. I love the layers, the trends, the sweaters, the leggings. It’s so much fun to play with new styles and today, I’m sharing some outfit inspiration with you guys.

I’m laying out five of my favorite fall trends (although there are many more) and how I styled these in my wardrobe below.

Fall Trends to Try this Season: Statement Boots

Statement boots are number one on my favorite fall trends list because they let you play with pieces you generally already have in your closet. For example, literally any of these boots could be worn with a basic denim and a chunky knit sweater. I’m guessing you probably have a black or ivory sweater in your closet already so you can change up the look just with shoes.

I know some of the outfits above are probably too “trendy” for some of you and that’s okay. You can take certain pieces and mix and match. The great thing about fashion is that you can make it your own.

Fall Trends to Try this Season: 70s Style

If time machines existed, I would go straight back to the 1970s. It’s so funny how trends come right back around. The vibrant colors, the insane bell bottoms, the stripes. It’s all very Jackie Meets Kelso. For those of you who didn’t catch that, it’s a “That 70s Show” reference. Again, this is a trend that might be a little “out there” for some people, but you could always try something subtle like a striped tee to start.

Fall Trends to Try this Season: Band Tees

Brand tees are a trend that almost anyone can rock if you like music. I’ve styled mine with blazers, leather jackets, or just have worn them alone with denim. If you’re looking for a good local spot to snag a band tee, check out Lesley Jane (TRENDYLJB20). I’ve linked a variety of graphic tees below because I just think these should be in everyone’s wardrobe.

Fall Trends to Try this Season: Animal Print

I love leopard and this year it seems like the more leopard you are wearing, the better. We are seeing leopard in booties, blazers, jackets, sweaters, leggings. You name it, it’s probably made in this wild print. Again, if you’re looking for a soft leopard print, something not so bold, try the booties or cardigan I shared above under Statement Boots,

Fall Trends to Try this Season: Plaid

The fifth fall trend I’m highlighting is another easy one for everyone to try. From blazers to dresses to flannel button-ups, plaid is a must have fall print. I personally love to rock plaid casually with a band tee and distressed denim or I go straight to dressy plaid. There’s not a solid in between for me on this print.

There are so many other Fall trends to try: corduroy, statement coats, socks with slingback heels, and the list goes on. These are just a few of my favorites that I’ve tried and loved. As always, if you guys have styling questions, I’m here for you so always reach out.

Cheers to fall fashion and new trends,

Steph
