Trendy Wedding Week continues with a guide for brides!
As a bride, you have so many events to plan or at least to attend before the ceremony. It's important to know what to wear to those, but not stress yourself out. I've also included some honeymoon must haves here.
Bridal Gown & Accessories for your Bridal Shower
I was totally one of those brides who wanted to wear white for everything. It's not a color I generally gravitate to, but I loved it the summer I was getting married and it kind of stuck. I've included a few white options and a few colorful options here for you that are appropriate for your bridal shower.
Bridal Gown & Accessories for your Bachelorette Party
Again, totally just wanted to wear white for everything and for this event, I asked my bridesmaids to wear black dresses. For my party, we stuck around Indy, enjoyed dinner on Mass Ave, and hit the bars. It's important to consider what you might be doing on this night and remember to preserve some of your dignity if you end up on a stage singing "Shut Up and Dance." I've included some Bach party dresses for the bride and her bridesmaids below.
The night before you say "I do" and the last outfit your fiance will see you in before you're in a wedding dress. It's an important night and one where want to make a lasting impression.
Bridal Gown & Accessories for your Honeymoon
WOOHOO HONEYMOON! Collin and I both agree this was our favorite vacation ever. We didn't have to worry about a thing, always had food, enjoyed drinks in the pool. It was awesome. I took advantage of being able to wear tropical pieces I might not wear otherwise. Again, this depends on location, but I've included my favorite pieces for those of you heading to beach destinations. Also, I am kind of in love with the dress I am wearing here. How perfect is this from Shop Goldylox?! You can use the code TRENDY15 to save at checkout.
The events leading up to the wedding and after the wedding are so much fun and you'll only get to experience those moments once. It's important to remember to take a breathe, look fabulous, and have fun. For other tips for brides, check out this post I did in January.
Cheers to bridal beauty beyond just the big day,
