Detoxing with Fit Life Tea
So let's talk about detoxing. I am not one that believes in crash diets, diet pills, or anything that can cause harm to your health to lose weight or give you energy. However, for those of you who know me personally, you know that I have some strange allergies and stomach issues. And quite frankly, these issues just really suck.
Earlier this year, I went to a Gastro doctor and through testing was diagnosed with Gilbert's Disease and had inflammation in my small bowel. All of this lead to a gluten free diet. Even though I have been gluten free, I still experience bloating and low energy.
I tried my first detox tea in May and the experience was not exactly pleasant. I am talking up in the middle of the night on the toilet for an hour and pretty uncomfortable stomach pain. It did help with bloating and cleansed my system (that's for sure), but it was a very long month to say the least.
When Fit Life Tea reached out, I was hesitant at first, but read great reviews so I thought I would try again with the 14 day detox. Plus the company is female owned and operated here in the U.S. and I am a huge advocate for that. You guys, I am so glad I tried this!
First of all this tea doesn't have those awful effects of waking me up in the middle of the night so that is a huge win. It also tastes amazing. It's a bag tea so you don't have to have a special container. You can also drink it hot or cold and it's good both ways.
I have noticed less bloating and I would say my energy level has increased a little bit from what I notice. But, don't expect to drink this, eat doughnuts, not workout and lose weight. It just doesn't work that way. Healthy living is about the full package, one product won't do all the work for you.
Other important facts to know about Fit Life Tea:
- USDA Certified Organic
- Gluten free (yay for me!)
- 0 calories (WOW)
- Contains antioxidants
- Tastes so good
Overall, Fit Life Tea is definitely something I would order again and suggest to others. It would be great to do before you go on a trip or after you come home from vacation and feel awful from a week of stuffing yourself.
Speaking of vacation, we are headed to Disney World in the morning! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve right now. Follow along on my Instagram.
