Sundays are probably my favorite day of the week. It's a time to reflect, catch up, clean, spend time with family, and just take some time for yourself.
This past week has been a stressful for me which almost always leads to a minor breakout. I say minor because I thankfully have never experienced severe acne. Collin always gives me a hard time when I freak out about a pimple or two because he was medicated for acne and had a special face wash he had to use for years.
So my partnership with Sunday Riley skincare could not have come at a better time. I first learned about Sunday Riley skincare at Sephora when I was introduced to their C.E.O. Moisturizer . It literally smells like sunshine and leaves my skin feeling so silky. I was so excited to work with them directly to try out the Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask and the U.F.O Ultra-Clarifying Acne Treatment Face Oil.
On Sundays I almost always have bath and face mask time. I like to dedicate an hour to just reading a book, breathing and getting my face ready for the week ahead. If I experience a breakout, it happens in one of 3 places: my temples, between my eyebrows, or near my nose.
The cool thing about the Saturn Treatment Mask is that you can use it as spot treatment. You don't have to cover your whole face with it. Just let it sit for 20-30 minutes (while you take a bath or read) or leave it on overnight, rinsing well no matter which option you choose. Because the product does have salicylic acid to treat acne, it can cause some dryness. That's why it's important to follow up with a product like the U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Acne Treatment Face Oil. Although, I would tell you that moisturizing is important no matter what kind of skincare routine you have.
One thing I love about these products: the smell. They have this earthy, clean, woodsy thing going on. I attribute that mostly to the various oils in the ingredients like Tea Tree oil.
If you are looking for some kind of spot treatment, I highly recommend the Sunday Riley Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask and the U.F.O Ultra-Clarifying Acne Treatment Face Oil. It's a product I would recommend for teens experiencing those mortifying breakouts as well as adults who experience stress breakouts like me.
Here's to a great (and less stressful) week!
