New Obsessions: Lash Extensions, Merle Norman, and Camo
It seems that with the changing seasons I always seem to find something new to obsess about. This fall I have found three new loves: lashes, Merle Norman, and camo.
Lash extensions have become a growing beauty trend over the last few years. They are perfect for events like weddings or formal dances or even just because you have really short lashes like me. Trisha Fish Beauty is my go-to girl for lashes (and brows). The first time I went to her was before Colts tryouts and I had never had lash extensions before. She explained how to care for them and I pretty much fell in love. I don't even have to use mascara or use much eye make up, although I usually do anyway. You have to be careful about who you go to though because I have heard horror stores of people using nail glue to apply these and that is terrifying.
So normally I am a diehard Sephora consumer, but lately I have discovered a new make up brand that I absolutely love. Merle Norman has hundreds of wonderful products. Some of my favorites include their Lip Pencil Plus (Glam I Am and Bistro Berry), shadow sticks, and skin care for normal to oily skin. Check out some beautiful Merle looks here.
Now let's talk camo. I normally think of camo as an outdoor, let's-go-hunting type of pattern. But you can find some really fashion forward pieces in camo and it goes well with burgundy. It's kind of an edgy look which I appreciate for fall also.
What are your obsessions this fall? I would love to know.
